Ride to Uttarakhand by Royal Eagles started on 7th March 2021 with 7 Royal Enfield bikes and 7 riders. We started at 5 AM from Nagpur. All riders were with full riding gears and ready to start with their team leader Mr. Sanjiv Trivedi.
The morning weather was very cool and was a perfect weather to ride. The first stop was before Seoni (120 kms) where we reached within 1.30 hours. After having tea break we proceeded towards our onward journey.
We had lunch at Lalitpur (UP) at around 1.30 PM. By this time the sun was on our head and we were feeling the heat. After about an hour’s lunch break we continued our journey. We took very little breaks as we had to cover a lot of distance.
At around 6 PM we reached Gwalior where we already had done our hotel booking at Hotel Vivek Continental. The hotel staff was very co-operative and so was the hotel.
We had a great stay in Gwalior and in the morning we decided to spend some time in Gwalior fort. This was originally not in our riding plan, but we wanted to see some great places. The fort is huge and spread over 11 Kms.
From there we proceeded our journey to Haridwar.
