Three riders who reached Kolkata yesterday started their journey to Gangasagar at 9 AM. The roads are old fashioned with shops all along. The road is too narrow compared to the traffic. It took around 4 hours to complete 90 kms.
Yeah!!! A bit tiresome 
The motorcycles were transported through the ferry ship. The ship was overcroweded. The charges were nominal. Only Rs. 180 for 2 bikes and three persons. It took about 30 minutes to reach the Gangasagar island.
The main temple Kapil Muni Ashram is about 35 kilometers away from the ship harbour. We had the luxury of our bikes, so we reached within 30 minutes to the destination. Otherwise you have to hire an autorickshaw or a bus. From the bus stand, you have to take another battery autorickshaw to reach the temple.
The return journey was same. By the time we reached Kolkata, it was dark. But the journey was fun.
